Last Updated: October 2026 | Effective Date: Immediately
Welcome to torsionspringrepair.us, operated by TorsionTech Dynamics LLC (referred to as "TorsionTech Direct", "Company", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, telephonic dispatch services, on-site diagnostics, and mechanical garage door torsion spring replacement and repair services across all serviced jurisdictions in the United States.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By browsing this website, contacting our dispatch telephone line at (888) 508-0091, or authorizing an on-site technician to perform mechanical inspection or counterbalance repair services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our dispatch services or authorize on-site work.
2. Scope of Mechanical Services
TorsionTech Direct provides specialized residential and commercial overhead garage door torsion spring replacement, dual-spring conversions, torque counterbalance calibration, cable drum re-timing, center bearing plate replacement, and emergency vehicle entrapment assistance. All services are performed by certified field technicians in compliance with applicable ANSI/DASMA 102 standards and local building codes.
3. Estimates, Flat-Rate Pricing & Diagnostic Fees
We believe in 100% upfront pricing transparency. Before any mechanical work is executed, our field technician will conduct a physical examination and present a written estimate detailing the recommended hardware tier (Standard, Dual High-Cycle, or Commercial Ultra-Torque) and total cost. Any diagnostic inspection or dispatch trip fees quoted at the time of scheduling will be completely waived upon customer approval and completion of authorized repair services.
4. Warranty Terms & Exclusions
All torsion spring replacement services performed by TorsionTech Direct are accompanied by our multi-year hardware and labor warranty:
- Standard 10,000-Cycle Package: Covered by a 3-Year Hardware Warranty against premature steel fatigue fracture or coil separation.
- Dual High-Cycle 25,000-Cycle Package: Covered by a 7-Year Comprehensive Parts & Labor Warranty.
- Commercial Ultra-Torque 50,000-Cycle Package: Covered by a Lifetime Hardware Warranty.
Warranty Exclusions: Warranty coverage is strictly limited to defects in spring metallurgy and installation workmanship. Warranty coverage is voided if the overhead door system is subjected to vehicular impact, unauthorized homeowner tampering with winding cones, severe structural building settling, water submersion, or modification by third-party contractors.
5. Customer Safety & Hazardous Energy Release
Garage door counterbalance systems operate under extreme torsional kinetic energy. You agree not to touch, adjust, loosen set-screws, or manipulate any spring coils, winding plugs, center bracket anchors, or lift cables while our technician is performing service or after work has been completed. The Company disclaims all liability for injuries resulting from unauthorized customer tampering with tensioned components.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable state law, TorsionTech Dynamics LLC and its affiliates, officers, and technicians shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from pre-existing structural header rot, foundation settling, electrical opener motor burnout resulting from prior spring failure, or homeowner operation of an unbalanced door contrary to technician instructions.
7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to our services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding related to our services shall be instituted exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
8. Property Access & Worksite Safety Conditions
Customer agrees to provide safe, unobstructed access to the garage interior, structural header, tracks, and electric opener power outlets. Customer must ensure that pets and minors are secured away from the work area during all mechanical diagnosis, spring winding, and test cycling procedures. If hazardous worksite conditions (e.g. exposed live high-voltage wiring, structural ceiling collapse hazards, or hazardous chemical storage directly beneath the torsion assembly) prevent safe execution of repairs, technician reserves the right to suspend service until conditions are remediated.
9. Payment Terms, Late Fees & Electronic Invoicing
Payment for all authorized mechanical services, replacement hardware, and conversions is due in full immediately upon completion of work and successful demonstration of the 3-Point Neutral Balance Float Test. We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), debit cards, and commercial corporate checks. Unpaid balances exceeding thirty (30) days from the invoice date shall accrue interest at the statutory rate of 1.5% per month (18% per annum) or the maximum allowable rate under applicable state law, in addition to reasonable collection costs and attorney fees.
10. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed severed from these Terms without affecting the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and TorsionTech Dynamics LLC regarding overhead door mechanical services.
